Xiangtan is a prefecture-level city in Hunan province, China. The hometowns of several founding leaders of the Chinese Communist Party, including Mao Zedong,Liu Shaoqi, and Peng Dehuai, are in the Xiangtan prefecture, as well as the hometowns of Qing dynasty painter Qi Baishi, scholar-general Zeng Guofan and tennis player Peng Shuai.
About HNUST
Hunan University of Science & Technology (HNUST), started with Northern Hunan Construction College founded in 1949 and established in 2003 by merging Xiangtan Engineering College and Xiangtan Normal College, has been developed into an institution of higher education co-constructed by People’s Government of Hunan Province and the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, and by the People's Government of Hunan Province and State Administration of Work Safety, and is on the list of 100 universities supported by National Basic Ability Construction Project of Western and Central China in the country’s 13th Five-Year Plan.
HNUST believes in a vibrant academic life. Moreover, the university led the development of the "manatee" deep-sea multi-purpose drilling rig for a depth of 60 meters, which makes China’s deep-sea drilling rig technology rank among the top in the world.
To further enhance such academic vitality with a global vision, HNUST has willingly opened her door to the outside world. Up till now, the university has cooperated with dozens of universities in over 10 countries and regions, such as the United States, Britain, Russia, Germany, Japan, Korea, as well as Taiwan of China, and has already enrolled international students from 26 countries. Besides, teachers and students have been sent regularly to study in overseas universities, or to teach Chinese abroad.

Responsibilities:
Typical Responsibility (variable by location):
1. Work schedule will be from Monday to Friday
2. Each class lasting 45 mins; 18 teaching hours per week
3. Contract period: 1st Mar, 2025 - 31st Jan, 2026

Salary: RMB 10,000 or above per month depending on qualification and experience
