Wuxi (无锡) is a city on the Yangtse River between Suzhou and Nanjing, and is located in the south of Jiangsu Province, half way between the cities of Shanghai and Nanjing, with Shanghai 128km to its east and Nanjing 183km to its west. To its south is Lake Taihu and to its north is Yangtse River. The city is under direct jurisdiction of the province and governs three cities and six districts. Wuxi administers 9 county-level divisions, including 7 districts and 2 county-level cities. Because of its recent development, Wuxi has been dubbed the 'little Shanghai'.

      

Wuxi International School, referred as WIS, is specially established for the children of foreign businessman and technology person by Wuxi government in 2003. It is directly under the lead of Wuxi Education Authority and in cooperation with administration of China and foreign experts.

WIS is carrying out heritage education strategy and have introduced international education course and America SAT guidance course. We will retain high qualified and strictly trained Euramerican teachers to be engaged in our teaching.

WIS possesses of modern teaching facilities, capacious playing fields and beautiful schoolyard. It is recruiting students who will have course of preschool education, elementary school, junior high school and senior high school.

The school sets up Elementary School Department (students from 6 to 12 years old), Junior High School Department (students from 12 to 15 years old) and Senior High School Department (students from 15 to 18 years old).

(The teacher will be able to teach English and Math subjects for their primary school student age from 6-12 years old)

Requirements: TEFL and two years teaching experience preferred
Monthly Salary: 15000 or above

Teaching hours: 20 teaching classes per week (40 mins per teaching hr)
Age of students: Elementary School   6-12 year olds

                       Junior High School  12-15 years old

                       Senior High School  15-18 years old

Chemistry and Biology Teacher needed :  1 Post
Teaching hours: 20 teaching classes per week (40 mins per teaching hr)

Age of students: Junior High School  12-15 years old

Contract Period: 1st Mar, 2025 - 31st Jan, 2026
                       1st Sep, 2025 - 15th Jul, 2026

Requirements: TEFL and two years teaching experience preferred

Monthly Salary: 15000 or above

Accommodation: provided free furnished apartment with full facilities.

Paid Holiday: Two days off per week; all public holidays in China

Work permit : The school will provide work permit for China

Air-ticket Reimbursement: On completion of the contract, a round way air-ticket reimbursement will be made.
