Hangzhou, one of the seven ancient capitals of China and the capital of the Zhejiang Province. The city is a wonderful mix of old and new with West Lake as the heart of the city. This historical place is famous all over China for its beauty and culture and is one of the most visited tourist cities in the world. Have you not been to Hangzhou you have not seen the real China.
It is only about 120 miles away from Shanghai, which makes it the ideal place for a weekend vacation if you happen to be in Shanghai and want to see the more traditional side of China.
Take the train to Shanghai. This is the cheapest, safest and most comfortable way to travel from Hangzhou to Shanghai. The high speed train is available now. It is a 45-minute to 1 hours ride for about 82RMB (13USD) one way.

Zhejiang Economic & Trade Polytechnic (ZJETP) is a public college specializing in advanced vocational education, specifically economics and trade. ZJETP instills strong business ethics in its students through a comprehensive education experience.
Located at Xiasha High Education Campus in Hangzhou, ZJETP is a part of a fast growing educational development zone in Hangzhou. More than 8,000 students attend ZJETP to obtain a three-year diploma in one of the 29 programs offered in the fields of science, arts, engineering, economics, business and management.
ZJETP currently is collaborating with four international universities, providing students the opportunity to study outside of China: University of Minnesota Crookston, North Dakota State University, and Valley City State University in the United States, and Wirtschaftsakademie Schleswig-Holstein in Germany. Contract period:
Contract Period: 1st Mar, 2025 - 31st Jan, 2026
1st Sep, 2025 - 15th Jul, 2026
Requirements: Bachelor degree + teaching experience (TEFL Cert. preferred)
Monthly Salary: 8000 RMB for BA degree; 9,000RMB-10000RMB for MA degree
Teaching hours: 14-16 teaching hours per week
Paid Holidays: two days off per week; all public holidays in China.
Paid Summer holiday in July and August for one school year contract
Medical Allowance: They will provide free medical service at the school clinic.
Medical Insurance: Medical coverage paid by school.
Accommodations: Offering a private free apartment including with 1-2 bedrooms, living room, washing room, color TV, internet access, air conditioner, refrigerator, washing machine, telephone, microwave, bedding etc. a certain amount of free household electricity and water .
International air ticket: On the completion of one school year contract, the school will reimburse the round-trip airfare.
Closest Airport: The teacher will be picked up by the school on arrival and transported to the airport on departure.
Working visa: Invitation letter and working permit will be mailed to teacher to process work visa in his/her own home country before departing for China. Teachers already in China will be assisted in switching over to the university.
Remark: the contract is renewable and teacher will be paid the 2014 summer holiday in July/August if the contract is renewed

8,000-10,000 airfare fee will be paid from the university.
