Chongqing City

Chongqing city is a well-known city with a history of more than 3000 years. It is the famous historical and cultural city in China. Chongqing is the birthplace of the Bayu Culture. At present, Chongqing is a municipality directly under the Central Government with the largest area, the most administrative districts and the largest population. The original area of the whole city is 82,000 square kilometers, governing former Chongqing, Wanxian, Fuling cities as well as 43 districts, cities and counties in the Qianjiang Region. Chongqing has a population of 30,020,000, most of them are of Han nationality. 49 other ethnic minorities, such as Tujia, Miao, Hui, Man, and Yi also live here but retain their own traditional customs. The colorful local customs have already become an important tourist attraction in Chongqing.

The College is moving through the approval by the Ministry of Education (Education sent a letter to [2004] No. 41 document) to set up, organized by the Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications Independent Institute, is a full-time undergraduate college, for the national enrollment.

Requirements: BA and TESOL /TEFL. Some teaching experience preferred

Monthly Salary: 9,000 RMB to 12,000 RMB

Teaching hours: 16-20 hrs per week

Age of students: University

Number of days off per week: Two (2) days. All public holiday; Summer holiday

Medical Insurance: Medical care for foreign teachers in accordance with China's medical system. The school will provide teachers with a basic medical insurance and accident insurance .

Internet access (Free): computer with internet access (broadband) in the apartment and none charge for monthly fee.

Closest Airport: The teacher will be picked up by the school on arrival and transported to the airport on departure.

Working visa: Invitation letter will be mailed to teacher to process work visa in his/her own home country before departing for China. Teachers already in China will be assisted in switching over to the university.

Air-ticket: The school will reimburse the teacher the cost of round trip air-ticket on completion of the contract.
