Shiyan City Brief Introduction
As a famous Taoist shrine, Wudang Mountain is located in Shiyan City, Hubei Province. Also called Taihe and Xuanyue Mountain, it is renowned for its magnificent ancient building complex and appealing natural landscape. In 1994, the Ancient Building Complex in the Wudang Mountains was included on the World Heritage List by UNESCO.

Construction of the Ancient Building Complex started in the Tang Dynasty (618-907). During the reign of Emperor Taizong , the Five Dragon Ancestral Temple was built on Wudang Mountain. In the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), about 33 palaces and structures including the Yuxu Palace, the Grand Purple Cloud Palace, the Yuzhen Palace and the Palace of Harmony were built. Then the grand and magnificent building complex was formed. At present, the extant building complex includes the Palace of Harmony, the Grand Purple Cloud Palace, the South Cliff Palace, the Yuzhen Palace, relics of the Yuxu Palace and the Five Dragon Ancestral Temple, Xuanyue Gate (a huge archway) and the Fuzhen Temple.

Requirements: BA and TESOL /TEFL. Some teaching experience preferred

Contract Period: 1st Mar, 2023 to 31st Jan, 2024
                       1st Sep, 2023 to 15th Jul, 2024
Monthly Salary: 10000 RMB or above

Teaching hours: 21 classes per week （45minutes per class）

Age of students: primary and secondary students.

Travel allowance: 2,200 RMB per school year

Accommodation: A private apartment with private bedrooms, washroom, color TV with cable, air- conditioner, telephone, microwave, washing machine, shower, 24 hour hot water supply, free supply of electricity , water, complete supply of bedding (including sheets, blankets, pillows and towels).

Internet access (Free): a computer and internet access (broadband) will be provided in the apartment

Paid Holiday : 2 days off per week; public holidays in China; winter holiday 20 days in Feb. 

Work permit : The school will provide work permit for China at no cost to the teacher. If the teachers who are in China already, the school will pay 600RMB for the visa and Foreign Expert Certificate, foreign teachers will pay the rest. 

Air-ticket Reimbursement: On completion of a school year contract, a round way air-ticket reimbursement will be made for teachers maximum 8000 RMB.
