Brief introduction of AHIEC

Ratified by Anhui provincial government, AHIEC has entered the record in national education ministry. And affiliated from the Anhui education department and provincial national resources department and geology bureau。As a full-time high vocational college with the qualification of independently issuing the diploma of high education, AHIEC boasts the land of 531.39 acres, the value of 46.05 million Yuan for teaching equipments, and 504100 books in library. The college also has 8 practice bases in campus and 115 practical bases outside the campus, among them which have one national-vocational-level base for electrician, electronics, and the automation technology, three provincial –level experimental and practical center, all of above mentioned are in good condition. At present, the college has 570 high qualified teaching staff both working in full times and part times, from which 182 teachers are professors, 272 double-certificate(it means they have each certificate in teaching and practicing) teachers. ChangYinfo, the member of china scientific academy and China engineering academy is the visiting professor of our college..

AHIEC has the various departments which are Tourism Management, Mechanic Engineering, Business and Trade, Scientific and Technology computer, Electronic Information Technology, Modern Economic Management, Geology and Mineral resources, and the Art department, within all theses departments they have 49 majors. Specially, the college forms the major systems from the lead of the majors of geology courses. So far, the total number of students in college has reached more than 12000 .      
    

From the time of the establishment, the college has followed the mottoes of “integrity, diligent proficient, and innovation” and the spirit of “three glorifications”: the college has set up the long teaching courses system of mechanisms of the cooperation between producing, studying and researching, whose purpose is to foster the students’ vocational abilities by combining the college and the enterprises, the practices and the study, academic and practical certificates. Thus, it fully elevates the competence and the employment edge of the graduates; the companies speak highly about the performance of our students. From the moment of establishment, the employment rate of the graduates is well above 96 percent, which is a high figure among the vocational college of Anhui province.

The college also actively develop the communications and cooperation with other colleges and universities, for example, the college has on-the-job education with China geology university and Wuhan university, set up the majors and cultivate talents with more the 80 units such as the jade and pearl department of China geology university and Anhui regional geology surveying institution. The good momentum in college has been taken shape in the development of scale, quality, structure, and coordination. Recently, according to the growing trend and the needs of the the development of China’ economy, with the education advantages and the strategies of “introducing the merits from abroad, seeking the development in abroad”, AHIEC has established the international department and carried out the multiform and multilevel international operations, strive to build a international university with various majors and features.

Contract Period: 1st Sep, 2024 - 15th Jul, 2025
                                            1st Mar, 2024 - 31st Jan, 2026

Requirements: TEFL and two years teaching experience preferred

Monthly Salary: 9,000 - 10,000 RMB

Teaching hours: 16-20 classes per week ; 45 minutes per class; 50 RMB per extra class

Age of students: 19-20 years old

Accommodation: A private apartment with bedroom, kitchen, washroom, color TV, air-conditioner, telephone, microwave, washing machine, shower, 24 hours hot water supply, free supply of electricity, water, supply of bedding, sheets, blankets, pillows and towels. Free internet access is installed at the apartment. Utilities are paid by the school.

Medical Insurance: The same treatment as the colleagues in our school

Paid Holiday: Two days off per week on Saturday and Sunday.

National day in October (7 days),  New Year in January (1 day) and Labor Day in May (1 day); half-pay for Winter holiday in Jan and Feb.

Work permit : The school will provide work permit for China at no cost to the teacher.

Air-ticket Reimbursement: On completion of a school year contract, a round way air-ticket reimbursement will be made with air-ticket receipts.

Travel Allowance: 2000 RMB per year
